I am Libby, owner and sole operator of Amethyst Esthetics. In 2018, I graduated from Skinworks School of Advanced Skincare as a Master Esthetician. Shortly after graduation, I was offered a position managing a popular waxing salon in SLC. I spent months learning proper waxing techniques and mastering the Brazilian Wax. It didn’t take me long to realize that managing a team wasn’t for me. I knew it was time to go solo. In 2020, I opened Amethyst Esthetics in the midst of COVID and Cornaquake. Creating a safe place to enhance self-care was always my top priority.
The amethyst is an all-purpose, protective stone with multiple healing properties. The amethyst is mainly used to relieve stress and anxiety, which is why I chose the precious gem to represent my esthetics business. Now, with over a decade of experience, I help people who are tired of shaving every day. I offer everyone a smoother solution to hair removal as well as a safe space for them to be their most authentic selves. I believe mainstream beauty standards are fake news. There is nothing wrong with body hair. I simply believe that if you plan to remove your hair anyway, waxing is your best option.
